Biography

Pietro Ducange received the M.Sc. degree in computer engineering and the Ph.D. degree in information engineering from the University of Pisa, Pisa, Italy, in 2005 and 2009, respectively. He is currently a Research Fellow with the Department of Information Engineering, University of
Pisa. He has coauthored more than 30 papers in international journals and conference proceedings.
Dr. Ducange currently serves the following international journals as a member of the Reviewer Board: IEEE TRANSACTIONS ON FUZZY SYSTEMS, Information Sciences, International Journal of Approximate Reasoning, and Soft Computing. Further, Dr. Ducange is member of the Editorial Board of Soft Computing (Springer) and International Journal of  Swarm Intelligence and Evolutionary Computation (OMICS Group). He is involved in several research and development projects mainly founded by the Tuscany Region.
