Dr. Namita Rout is a Research Fellow in Medicine at Harvard Medical School. She received her Ph.D. degree in virology from Anna University, India in 2008. She is a pioneer of DNA vaccination in an invertebrate species and one of the first few researchers to report memory-like response of the innate immune system.
