Dr. Nagarajan Raju is a research fellow in Vanderbilt Vaccine Center, Department of Pathology,Microbiology and Immunology, Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He received his Ph.D. in Computational Biology from Indian Institute of Technology Madras, India in 2016. He has published 24 peer-reviewed papers in international journals and his publications have been cited over 240 times with an H-index of 10. He was selected as a “Bentham Brand Ambassador” to represent USA in 2019. He is an Academic Editor in BioMed Research International Journal for Bioinformatics section and Associate Editorial Board Member in Current Bioinformatics journal. He is the recipient of the AU-CBT Excellence award by Biotech Research Society of India (BRSI), Research award from IIT Madras in recognition of quality and quantity of research work done, and several travel awards from international research organizations. His research interests include all general Bioinformatics studies particularly, biological sequence and structure analysis, protein-DNA and protein-RNA interactions, binding site residues analysis and prediction, database, web server, prediction methods and algorithm development. He often serves as a reviewer for many Bioinformatics related journals such as BMC Bioinformatics, PLoS One, Scientific Reports, PLoS Computational Biology, etc.
