Biography

Muhammad Ali Syed was born in 1975 in Sindh Province of Pakistan. He got his PhD degree in Microbiology (Biosciences) from COMSATS Institute of Information Technology Islamabad Pakistan and MSc. Degree in Biomedical Sciences (Medical Microbiology) from Kingston University UK. Apart from this, he studied Chemistry in his undergraduation from University of Wuppertal, Germany. Currently, he is serving as an Assistant Professor at Department of Microbiology of University of Haripur Pakistan. His research interests include molecular epidemiology of infectious diseases, nanodiagnostic techniques for infectious agents, vaccine efficacy, methicillin resistant Staphylococcus aureus etc. He has published a number of articles in journals of international repute.

Nanotechnology based microbial detection systems, Molecular epidemiology of infectious bacteria, Vaccines and vaccine efficacy, Bioethics, Aptamers, Biosensors etc.
