Biography

Dr. Millie Pant is working as an  professor at Department of Paper Technology, Saharanpur Campus of IIT Roorkee, since 2007. She did her M.Sc. (Mathematics) from CCS University, Meerut and PhD from mathematics department of IIT Roorkee. Her areas of interest include Numerical optimization and operations research, Evolutionary Algorithms and Swarm Intelligence techniques. At present she is guiding four PhD theses, multidisciplinary in nature, jointly and two B. Tech projects. She has published 30 research papers in various journals and conferences of national and international repute. She is also working at present in a DST sponsored project worth Rs. 13,97,000 as a Principal Investigator.
