Martina Vendrame graduated from the University of Padova (Italy) in 1999. She obtained a PhD in Neuroscience from University of South Florida in 2004, completed a residency in Neurology at Temple University Philadelphia in 2008, and a fellowship in Clinical Neurophysiology at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital Harvard University in 2010. She is currently Assistant Professor in Neurology at Boston University. Dr Vendrame’s research focuses on sleep disorders in patients with seizures and epilepsy, including sleep apnea, insomnias, and parasomnias. She received the American Academy of Neurology Award for Clinical Research in 2009. She is an active member of the American Academy of Neurology, American Epilepsy Society and American Academy of Sleep Medicine, and serves in the American Academy of Sleep Medicine Research Committee.
