Prof. Dr Magda Ali Akl (Mrs.) has received her PhD in MANSOURA University (EGYPT) during the period of 1990. Currently, she is working as PROFESSOR of ANALYTIICAL CHEMISTRY in MANSOURA University (EGYPT). She has successfully completed her Administrative responsibilities as HEAD of Environmental Analysis Lab., Faculty of Science, Mansoura University, Egypt, Member of Mansoura University NanoCenter Administrative Council and Chief of the Scientific Committee of Mansoura University NanoTechnology Center. Her research has included scientific achievements in the area of analytical chemistry, nanotechnology as well as environmental analysis of pollutants in (food, pesticides or insecticides, water, soil), pharmaceutical analysis of pharmaceutical compounds in its formulations and metal determination in ores and in environmental and biological samples. Based on this research and fellowship training she has received several awards and honors, such as: Mansoura University Prize, 2007. She has supervised more than 25 PhD and MSc theses dealing with different topics. She is serving as an expert Reviewer for journals like Analytical Sciences, Separation Science and Technology, Microchimica Acta, J. of Hazardous materials, SAA and CEJ. She has authored more than 60 peer reviewed research articles. Her publications received 838 citations (H index: 15) She is a member of JSPS(Japan), EG-JAP and ESAC(Egypt).
