Experience of research and teaching in engineering. Fifteen years of service experience in a Petrochemical company and had been posted as a Senior Engineer in the maintenance Department of an Ammonia and Urea Fertilizer plant. There I had to participate also in construction, installation of new equipment, commissioning and test run of the project. Two years working experiences as a maintenance manager of a Hydrogen peroxide manufacturing plant of auto oxidation process. There I have guided construction and erection works and later participated in commissioning and test run of the project. I have worked one and a half year as Head of Engineering and Construction of a Chemical plant producing Sulfuric Acid and Single Super Phosphate. I have good knowledge on computation and instrument handling. I have the academic background with Masters in Mechanical Engineering and PhD on heat transfer, fiber characterization and heat exchanger fouling mitigation. I have 106 technical papers published in National and International Journals and Conference Proceedings. I have worked as part-time consultant with Crown Agents Services Limited, where I work in a consulting team for gas pipelines layout and installation, gas drilling environment management etc. I have also worked for one and a half year as Plant Manager of a Hydrogen Peroxide plant of capacity 60 ton per day. At present I am working as a senior lecturer in the Department of Mechanical Engineering of University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Heat Transfer Phenomena
