Biography
Dr. Lily Arya is a urogynecologist with a track record in clinical trials and research in infections of the lower urinary tract in women. I have formal training in research study design and measurement through Masters in Epidemiology. I currently have a leadership role in the design and conduct of multi-center randomized clinical trials. Specifically, I am the principal investigator for Pelvic Floor Disorders Network (U-10 of the NIH). As Division Director of Urogynecology and Program Director of Fellowship Training in Urogyencology at the University of Pennsylvania, I have establishing a successful infrastructure for research in infections in lower urinary tract disorders in women.
Research Interest
Dr. Lily Arya Research Intersts includes Recurrent Urinary tract Infections, Interstitial Cystitis, Clinical Trials, Urinary and Fecal Incontinence, Peri-operative infections and Sexual disorders.
