Biography
Dr. Oesterle is Professor and Chair and Program Director of the Department of Orthodontics at the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine. Dr Oesterle is a graduate of the University of Northern Iowa for his Bachelors Degree and earned his DDS Degree MS Degree and Certificate in Orthodontics at the University of Iowa. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics and serves as a consultant to a number of national and state organizations. Dr. Oesterle is a retired USAF Colonel having served in several postings with a concentration in postgraduate dental education. His research interests range from growth and development orthodontic adhesives and bonding pain control nickel titanium wires to esthetics. Dr. Oesterle has over 40 published papers in referred journals and is a reviewer for several dental journals.
