Dr. Konstantin (Kostya) Kanyuka is a Senior Research Scientist in the Department of Plant Pathology and Microbiology at Rothamsted Research, Harpenden, U.K. He has received a PhD in Molecular Biology from the Institute of Agricultural Biotechnology, Moscow, Russia in 1987-1991. He has completed his B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Biochemistry at Moscow State University, Moscow, Russia in 1982-1987. Dr. Kanyuka has over 20 years experience in plant virology specializing in dissecting molecular mechanisms of disease resistance. He is serving as an editorial board member of Molecular Plant Pathology and reviewer of 10 journals.
