Biography

After obtaining her Ph.D. from Utkal University, India, Dr. Kanungo served as an Assistant Professor at the Orissa University of Agriculture and Technology (India). She has published a number of book chapters and 47 peer-reviewed papers, 37 of which are indexed in the PubMed. Dr. Kanungo worked as a Research Scientist at the NIH and currently serves as a Principal Investigator/Lead Scientist at the National Center for Toxicological Research, US Food and Drug Administration.

Alzheimer’s disease, Neurotoxicity, Neuronal development/degeneration, Animal models of neurodegeneration, Cell signaling/Molecular biology/pluripotent cells & Drug-induced toxicity/drugs of abuse.
