Biography

Juan C. Duchesne is a Director of Tulane Surgical Intensive Care Unit, Tulane School of Medicine, New Orleans Louisiana Associate Professor of Critical Care Surgery Trauma and Anesthesia, Tulane & LSU Department of Surgery and Anesthesiology Medical Director Trauma Telemedicine Spirit of Charity Trauma Center, New Orleans Louisiana Medical Advisor For Louisiana Emergency Response Network ATLS Louisiana State Faculty. He has completed his B.A in Biology in University of Puerto Rico (1995). He has completed his MD in Ponce School of Medicine (1999). He has completed his General Surgery Residency, LSUHSC New Orleans Louisiana (2004). He has completed his Trauma and Critical Care Surgery Fellowship, LSUHSC New Orleans Louisiana (2005). He received Outstanding Leadership Award from Eastern Organization of Surgical Trauma (2009). He is serving as an editorial board member of reputed journals and reviewer of 10 journals. Involved in Military, Disaster Management, Rural Trauma and Injury Prevention EAST Committees.
