Biography

Dr. Joanne Casey was an undergraduate at Sheffield University (UK) and graduated in 1991 with a BSc hons in Biomedical Technology. I completed my PhD in 1997 at the Cancer Research Campaign (CRC) Targeting & Imaging group based at UCL in London. I then moved to La Trobe University (Australia) where I was a postdoctoral and senior scientist for the Cooperative Research Centre for Diagnostics and for Adalta Pty Ltd. My current position is Team leader of the Phage Display Group for the Cooperative Research Centre for Biomarker Translation also based at La Trobe University.

Research Interest

Dr. Joanne Casey Research interests includes Recombinant antibody production, therapy, pre-clinical and clinical studies, Phage display technology, random peptide libraries, screening and focus on peptides for diagnostic or vaccine technology and  Antibody phage display libraries (naive human, Fab or scFv), screening for therapeutic or diagnostic use.
