Biography

Dr. Jiaqi Su is a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Health Sciences and Technology, ETH Zurich, Switzerland. His research focuses on the development of smart packaging films based on natural materials, exploring their potential as food quality indicators and sustained-release carriers. Dr. Su's academic journey includes significant international experience, supported by an International Mobility Grant from the China Scholarship Council for exchange studies at Ghent University.

Throughout his academic career, Dr. Su has been the recipient of numerous prestigious awards, including the National Merit Scholarship of China (2019, 2020) and the Doctor Academic Scholarship of China (2018-2020). He has also been honored with the “Merit Student” title from China Agricultural University and received various industry-sponsored scholarships from Yihai Kerry Group and Tianbo Food Ingredients Co., Ltd. Dr. Su has actively contributed to scientific conferences, such as the 14th International Hydrocolloids Conference. His dedication to research excellence is further evidenced by his recognition for the "Top 100 Bachelor's Degree Thesis" at China Agricultural University.
