Han Chang Kang is an assistant professor of Pharmacy at the Catholic University of Korea (CUK) and also serves as a research assistant professor of Pharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Chemistry at the University of Utah (UU). He received his B.S. in Industrial Chemistry at Hanyang University in 1997 and his M.S. in Materials Science and Engineering at Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology in 1999. He received Ph.D. in Pharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Chemistry at UU in 2007 under the direction of Professor You Han Bae. With Professor Bae, he worked for 1.5 year as a post-doctoral fellow and is working as a research assistant professor since 2009. He joined CUK as a tenure-track faculty in 2011. He published 21 peer-reviewed papers, 3 book chapters, and 2 patents. He is serving as an editorial board of Polymer Science and Technology and a reviewer for 14 renowned journals including Biomaterials, Journal of Controlled Release, Macromolecules, etc.
