Ramin M. Hakami is an Assistant Professor of Molecular and Microbiology at the National Center for Biodefense and Infectious Diseases at George Mason University. He has received a PhD in Biochemistry 1995 from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge, MA, under the mentorship of the Noble Laureate Professor Gobind Khorana. He has completed his B.S. in Chemistry at Stony Brook University, New York, NY 1989. He has coauthored 22 peerreviewed publications to date.
