Biography
Guodong Cao Ph.D. received his Ph.D in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Peking University Medical School in 1998. He started his Postdoc training in 1998 and was promoted to Assistant professor in 2008 in the Department of Neurology at University of Pittsburgh.
Research Interest
Dr. Cao’s researches focus on neuronal cell death mechanism in ischemic stroke and exploration of therapeutic approaches for the treatment of ischemic stroke.
