Dr. Gireesh Rajashekara is an Assistant Professor, Food Animal Health Research, Program, OARDC, The Ohio State University, Wooster, OH, Adjunct Assistant Professor, Department of Food Science and Technology, The Ohio State University, Columbus, OH. He is member of Center for Microbial Interface Biology, Biological Sciences center involved in the complex study of microbe-host interactions at the Ohio State University. He has received a PhD in Microbiology from the University of Minnesota, St. Paul, MN (1999). He has completed his DVM from University of Agricultural Sciences, Bangalore, India (1990). He serves as Ad-Hoc reviewer for number of journals and published many peer- reviewed original articles and reviews in high impact international journals.
