Biography

My name is Francesca Cignarella, a postdoctoral fellow in the laboratory of Prof. Laura Piccio and Anne Cross at Washington University School of medicine, St. Louis, USA. Research Interest

I have extensive research experience of more than 10 years as a medical biotechnologist and around 5 years in the area of neuroscience and neuro-immunological diseases. During my research career, I was fortunate to get many opportunities to critically analyze and assess research articles submitted in peer-reviewed journals (i.e. PloS One, Multiple sclerosis, Acta neuropathologica, The Journal of clinical investigation…) for my PI. I have also assessed abstracts and served as a judge for local symposiums
