Biography
Dr FT Fraunfelder’s formal medical education was at Oregon Health Science University the University of Chicago School of Medicine Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and Moorefield’s Eye Hospital at the University of London. He is author or coauthor of 14 medical textbooks on the eye and over 200 peer review scientific articles. One of these books a series of five was awarded as one of the outstanding medical ocular textbooks of the 20th century In 2008 he coauthored “Retirement Rx” Penguin Group. This is in hard back in English French big print and kindle. The paper back edition “Retire Right” was published in 2009. Dr Fraunfelder is the founder of the Casey Eye Institute at Oregon Health Science University and is director Emeritus.
Research Interest
He specializes clinically in ocular oncology and his research focuses on druginduced ocular side effects.
