Biography
Dr. Elena Landoni has completed the PhD in Medical Statistics at the age of 28 years from University of Milan and works as biostatistician at the Fondazione IRCCS Istituto Nazionale dei Tumori in Milan. Her research involves the application of nonparametric tests and machine learning methods for the analysis of high-dimensional ‘omics’ data.
Research Interest
Dr. Elena Landoni research is focused on the discovery and development of cancer molecular biomarkers, with implementation of feature selection algorithms together with the use of original and simple graphical representations of the results. Another area of her interests is nonparametric statistics, applied in particular to the fields of molecular biology and personalized medicine.
