Dr. Francesco Angelini holds a Ph.D. degree in Pasteurian Sciences, an M.S. degree in pharmaceutical biotechnology, and a B.S. degree in biotechnology. Angelini has worked as a Postdoc Research Fellow at the Faculty of Pharmacy and Medicine, Department of Medical Surgical Sciences and Biotechnology, "La Sapienza" University of Rome, Rome, Italy. Angelini currently serves as a Research Fellow in the Horizon 2020 Project "U-PGx-Ubiquitous Pharmacogenomics: Making Actionable Pharmacogenomic Data and Effective Treatment Optimization Accessible to Every European Citizen," SOC Farmacologia Sperimentale e Clinica, Dipartimento della Ricerca e della Diagnostica Avanzata dei Tumori, CRO Aviano (Italy), and UOC Oncologica, Ospedale San Filippo Neri, Roma (Italy). Angelini’s current research interests include pharmacogenomics, tumor microenvironment, circulating tumor cells, resident cardiac progenitor cells, stem cell therapy for heart disease, and tissue engineering.
