Biography

Cynthia is the Head of Podiatry Department, University of Malta and Programme leader for the BSc Hons Podiatry, she have engaged in many strategic initiatives and developments across the Faculty of Health Sciences. Duties within these roles include Chairing of Programme Committees and Examination Boards. Cynthia currently responsible for a team of 5 people within the department and 4 undergraduate programme of studies together with post-graduate training programmes. In 2005, Cynthia commenced the first BSc (Hons) Podiatry Programme in Malta and have the responsibility of overseeing, developing and promoting this profession and have continual meetings with podiatry managers within the NHS and placement educators.
