Biography

Dinah Duarte is Associate Professor at Lusófona University – Faculty of Pharmacy in Pharmacology, Regulatory sciences and Pharmaceutical Care in graduate and Post-graduate Programs. She is the Head of Scientific Evaluation Unit at the Portuguese regulatory authority for medicines (Infarmed, I.P.) She is MSc in “Regulatory Affairs and Evaluation of Medicinal Products” (University of Lisbon) in Pharmacotoxicology. She has two Speciality Titles (Regulatory Affairs” and Hospital Pharmacy”) by Portuguese Pharmaceutical Society. She is an expert member at European Medicines Agency and the Committee for Orphan Medicinal Products member for Portugal and the representative in the Steering Group of European Network of Centres for Pharmacoepidemiology & Pharmacovigilance. She was the Committee for Medicinal Products for Human Use alternate member and the CHMP representative in the Human Scientific Committees Working Party with Healthcare Professionals Organisations. She has published several research papers in peer-reviewed journals, and has presented posters and oral communications by invitation.
