David Della Morte has received his MD degree and his PhD in Clinic Physiopathology and Experimental Medicine at University of Naples “Federico II”, Naples, Italy. Since 2006, Dr. Della Morte is working at the Department of Neurology, Miller School of Medicine, University of Miami, Miami, FL, USA. Currently he is Assistant Professor of Neurology at the same University, and Chief of Chief of Laboratory of Physiopathology of Aging, Department of Advanced Biotechnologies and Bioimaging, IRCCS San Raffaele Pisana Rome, Rome, Italy. Dr. Della Morte is involved in both basic and clinical science in the field of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular disease. He is a member of The American Association for the Advancement of Science. He has honored with several awards such as American Heart Association Postdoctoral Grant.
