Biography

Dr. Cristoforo Incorvaia works as Allergy specialist at Istituti Clinici di Perfezionamento in Milan, Italy. He received his medical degree and the specialization in Allergy and Clinical Immunology at the University of Milan. He was house physician c/o the Institute Of Internal Medicine directed by Prof. Carlo Zanussi from January 1982, and was entitled in the years 1983/84 and 1984/85 of scholarship for specialization in Allergy and Clinical Immunology. From 1982 to 1999 he worked in the Allergy Center directed by Prof. Elide Pastorello in the Policlinico Hospital. Author or coauthor of approximately 250 scientific articles in international journals. Invited speaker in more than 90 national and international Congresses. Chairman in more than 30 national Congresses. Deputy Editor of the journal Clinical and Molecular Allergy. Associate Editor of the journal Review of Allergy and Clinical Immunology. Reviewer for many scientific journals in Allergy and Respiratory categories. Secretary of the Regional Section Lombardy of the Italian Society of Allergy and Clinical Immunology from 2005 to 2009. Member of the Steering Committee of the Italian Society of Allergy and Clinical Immunology from 2009. Secretary of the Italian Study Group on Hymenoptera Venom Allergy from 1994 to 1999. Coordinator of the study groups on Allergen immunotherapy and on Hymenoptera venom allergy of the Italian Society of Allergy and Clinical Immunology from 2009 to 2014.

Research Interest

His current main research interests are allergen immunotherapy, Hymenoptera venom allergy, food allergy, asthma and COPD.
