Dr. Hsueh completed his doctorate in Medicine at Taipei Medical University in 1986, and doctorate in Pharmacology at Roswell Park Graduate Division, State University of New York at Buffalo in 1993. He completed Medical Oncology/Hematology fellowship at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in 1999. He has received fellowship and grant support from National Cancer Institute (U.S.A.), American Association for Cancer Research, National Science Council (Taiwan) and Celgene for conducting translational research and new drug development in aerodigestive malignancy. He was director of Clinical Pharmacology Laboratory in China Medical University Hospital, Taiwan. Dr. Hsueh currently is associate professor of Medicine, chair of Clinical Research Oversight Committee, and medical director of Centers of Excellence-Gastrointestinal and Head/Neck Cancers at Loma Linda University Cancer Center. He has coauthorized more than 60 journal publications, book chapters and meeting abstracts. He is associate editor of Journal of Hematology and Oncology, and serves as journal referee for Biochemical Pharmacology, Molecular Cancer, Cancer Investigation, Journal of the Pancreas and Cancer Chemotherapy & Pharmacology.
