Biography
Chia-Yuan Chang, an Associate Professor at the Department of Environmental Engineering and Science, Chia Nan University of Pharmacy and Science, Taiwan. He also has an Adjunct Professor position in Wuhan University of Science and Technology, China. He received his PhD from National Chiao Tung University, Taiwan in 1995. His research interests mainly include wastewater treatment, water reuse resource recovery and bio-energy production using membrane and biological technologies, especially membrane bioreactor (MBR). His design and operating protocols of MBR have been applied to full-scale installations for the treatment of industrial wastewaters and water reuse by local and oversea companies. Dr. Chang has published more than 100 articles.
Research Interest
His research interests mainly include wastewater treatment, water reuse resource recovery and bio-energy production using membrane and biological technologies, especially membrane bioreactor (MBR).
