Biography
Bimal K. Banik, Ph. D. C. Chem. F. R. S. C. was awarded doctoral degree based upon his thesis work performed at the Indian Association for the Cultivation of Science, Calcutta. He was a postdoctoral fellow at Case Western Reserve University (Ohio) and Stevens Institute of Technology (New Jersey). At present, Dr. Banik is the Vice President of Research and Education Development of a non-profit organization (Community Health Systems of South Texas). His different contributions in higher education are extremely recognized by scientists, students and professionals globally.
Research Interest
My research interests include organic chemistry, medicinal chemistry, green chemistry, catalysis, microwave-induced reactions, metal-mediated reactions and natural products.
