Biography

Born in Ponte di Piave (tv), Prof Franco Bassetto graduated in Medical Science at Padua’s University in 1984. Later in 1989 and 2004 he specilized in Plastic and Recosntructive Surgery, and in Hand Surgery. He’s been always involved in humanitarian missions (India, Angola, Kenya) and his interest on research are tissue engeneeing, wound healing, burns, skin cancers, new technologies, breast and postbariatric surgery. Nowadays he’s the Chief of the Clinic of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in Padua and he’s the author of more than 150 papers.
