Biography

Dr. Baryshnikova Natalia graduated from Saint-Petersburg State Medical Academy named after I.I. Mechnikov in 2002. PhD (2007) in gastroenterology and microbiology: work title “Clinic-microbiological characteristics of intestinal microflora and correction of its changes in patient with Helicobacter pylori-associated gastritis”. She is working in department of science and clinical trials in City Hospital of Saint Venerable Martyr Elizabeth in Saint-Petersburg. Also she is an assistant of chief of Science bureau of the same hospital. In combination she is working as an assistant professor in Saint-Petersburg State Medical University named after I.P. Pavlov. Areas of scientific interest – Helicobacter pylori and its genetic features, intestinal microflora and its changes after antibiotic therapy. Also she takes part in studies devoted to estimation of efficacy of probiotics in treatment of H. pylori infection (additional usage and monotherapy) and correction of intestinal microflora disorders.
