Biography

Ashish O. Gupta, MD, FAAP, completed fellowship training in neonatal-perinatal medicine at the MedStar Georgetown University Hospital, Washington DC. A graduate of Smt.N.H.L.Municipal Medical College in India, Dr.Gupta served his residency and chief residency in pediatrics at The Brooklyn Hospital Center, Brooklyn, NY. Dr.Gupta is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. He was recognized as teaching resident of the year (2009-10) and teaching fellow of the year (2012-13), and carries a special interest in residents’ education. Dr.Gupta has presented and published numerous abstracts and peer reviewed articles in the field of neonatology, and received multiple academic awards including young investigator of the year. Currently, Dr.Gupta is serving as clinical Assistant Professor of Pediatrics, Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University, attending neonatologist at Nemours/Alfred I duPont hospital for children and as Medical Director of neonatology at St.Francis hospital, Wilmington DE (USA).
