www.omicsonline.org/scholarly/drug-safety-regulations-journals-articles-ppts-list.phpThe professional development of Arijana Metrovic started with her graduating from Pharmaceutical Biochemistry Faculty in Zagreb in 1994 and continued with her working as a community and hospital pharmacist. In the Centre for Applied Pharmacy at the Pharmaceutical Faculty in Zagreb, she is engaged as a lecturer in practice in the courses Professional practice and Pharmaceutical care. At the Pharmaceutical Faculty in London, Glasgow and Brighton she received trainings in the areas of communication skills and pharmaceutical care. She is a longstanding mentor for trainees and students accredited by the Croatian Chamber of Pharmacists. Additionally, she is an active member of the Croatian Pharmaceutical Society, organizing conferences and providing lectures and workshops in CPD programmes for pharmacists. She is representing and has been working with CoDEG (Competency Development and Evaluation Group) to use the GLF (General Level Framework) and evaluate its impact on pharmaceutical care and practitioner development in Croatia and Central and Eastern Europe. In recent years she is actively collaborating with the Global Education Taskforce established by FIP, UNESCO and WHO. From 2011 she is one of the ExCo members of Europharm Forum and member of the BPS/BPP FIP Programme Committee. She is also member of ISPAG (International Services Program Advisory Group ) of ACPE (Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education ) from 2011.
