Dr Antonio Ferrante is the Professor and Head of Paediatric Immunopathology, SA Pathology at the Women’s and Children’s Campus. He is Professor in Paediatrics, Discipline of Paediatrics and Reproductive Health and Professor in Microbiology and Immunology, School of Molecular Biosciences, University of Adelaide. He is also professor of Immunopharmacology in School of Pharnaceutical and medical Science, University of South Australia. He is the Theme Leader for Developmental and Genetic Immunology, Robinson Institute, University of Adelaide.
His research interest focuses on basic and translation research in immunology pertaining to babies and children’s health.
His Research area also includes cytokine function and lipid mediators in inflammatory diseases
