Biography
Alfonso Duenas Gonzalez is a senior researcher at the Department of Genomic Medicine and Environmental Toxicology of the Instituto de Investigaciones Biomedicas de la UNAM and at the Instituto Nacional de Cancerologa Mexico. He has published almost 100 papers in the area of Cancer and serves as a reviewer in a number of Journals. He belongs to several Scientific Societies and has been awarded by his work by diverse Societies and Institutions. He also has lectured and presented his work in important scientific meetings around the world.
Research Interest
His research interests are the repositioning of drugs in the area of cancer epigenetics and metabolic therapy of cancer, as well the pharmacoepigenetics of cancer drugs.
