As a result of the increased life expectancy, elderly with acute coronary syndromes (ACS) referred to coronary catheterization facilities for emergency percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI) increase in numbers. Whereas PCI has proven effective in this setting, management of elderly with ACS remains a challenging issue.
