Thermal Studies of the Starch and Polyvinyl Alcohol based Film and its Nano Composites

Starch is a naturally occurring biopolymer with sustainable resource. This biopolymer has lower tensile strength. To overcome this, it is blended with Poly-vinyl Alcohol (PVA), which is a synthetic polymer but biodegradable and biologically safe. Nanocomposite of this blend has been prepared with 1%, 2% and 3% nanoclay loading. The thermal properties of this polymer have been studied.
