Copper has been proved to be an effective antimicrobial agent with added advantage of being harmless to human at low concentration. This research has been done to assess the affectivity of copper along with some other metals, on an opportunistic pathogen Candida albicans. Copper was found to be the most potent of all. Metallic copper was then compared with copper charged water for its action on the same fungus.
