    The Wettability of Commercial Vinyl Polysiloxane Impression Materials for Artificial Saliva: Static and Dynamic Evaluation

    Objective: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the wettability of commercial Vinyl Polysiloxane (VPS) impression materials by measuring contact angles on horizontal and non-horizontal surfaces using artificial saliva. Materials and Methods: Three light bodies (Affinis (Affi); Silagum (Sila) and Variotime (Vario-LB)) and one extra light body (Viriotime (Vario-ELB)) impression materials were used to fabricate specimens with flat surfaces. Static and dynamic contact angles were measured using the sessile drop method (OCA-20 contact angle analyzer) as a function of time.
