Sinus of Valsalva Aneurysm (SVA) is a rare cardiac condition that is commonly congenital. Acquired SVA is very rare, resulting from infections affecting the aortic wall, degenerative diseases or traumatic injury to the chest. Left SVAs are usually acquired, especially when associated with rupture into the left heart.
