Biography
Dr Kumiko Ui-Tei is working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biological Sciences at the School of Science, The University of Tokyo, Japan. Her main interest is to elucidate the molecular basis of gene regulation by tiny protein-noncoding RNAs including short interfering RNAs (siRNAs) and microRNAs (miRNAs). Now, she researches the regulatory machinery of small RNAs on gene expression.
