Jane Megid

Biography
Dr. Jane Megid graduated in veterinary medicine at the State University of Londrina, in Brazil (1982). She earned a Master in Veterinary Medicine at the University of São Paulo (1989) and a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine at the University of São Paulo (1996). She carried out a post-doctorate in infection and immunity at the Gulbenkian Institute of Science, in Portugal, and a post-doctorate in viral immunology at the Pasteur Institute (Paris), mainly on rabies. Her experience is in veterinary medicine, focusing on animal infectious diseases, primarily in the fields of rabies and brucellosis (pathogenesis, diagnosis and epidemiology).
