Gabrielle Brand

Biography

Gabrielle Brand is a passionate teacher and qualitative researcher with a special interest in narrative medicine, primary health care, community and social health care delivery, interprofessional and reflective learning and design and co-production of consumer driven teaching methodologies in health professions education. She has designed and created a series of reflective learning resources titled Depth of Field that uses photographs, narratives and collaborative dialogue to surface unexplored sterotypes and challenge learners through reflection to consider new perspectives around stigmatised patient groups that move beyond "diagnosis" to more humanistic models of care.
