Biography
Dr. Christopher received a B.S. degree from the University of Virginia and the Ph.D. degree from Virginia Tech, both in Biomedical Engineering. As a graduate student, he developed a new technology for non-thermal tissue ablation called high-frequency irreversible electroporation. He was an NIH IRACDA postdoctoral fellow at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he worked on new diagnostic and therapeutic ultrasound techniques, including the use of phase change contrast agents.He has experience with commercializing medical devices in the field of bioelectricity.
