Biography

Boris N. Chichkov received the Diploma degree (with honors) and Ph.D. degree in physics from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology, Moscow, Russia, in 1978 and 1981, respectively, and the German State Doctorate degree (Habilitation) from Hannover University, Hannover, Germany, in 1997.,In 1981, he became a Research Scientist with the P. N. Lebedev Physics Institute, Moscow, Russia.
