Mental Health Promotion: Prevention of Problematic Internet Use among Adolescents

The approach to Problematic Internet Use must start from previous levels of intervention, such as prevention and health promotion. Young people are a very susceptible group to work with in the early stages of this disorder. Our aim is to develop an intervention model based on prevention, aimed at adolescents in high school. This intervention has been carried out 26 occasions in a total of 22 high schools in an area of 150.000 inhabitants, estimating a global intervention in 1200 students.
