Poultry is a well-developed sector of agriculture industry in Pakistan. In poultry industry extensive antibiotics are used to control these pathogens for the improvement of meat and egg production. Present study was conducted to evaluate the impact of lactic acid producing bacteria on the immune status against E. coli infection in poultry birds. Lactobacillus spp. was isolated from conventional yoghurt sample. Lactobacillus spp. was isolated from yoghurt. In vivo analysis of Lactobacillus spp. against pathogenic E. coli was performed in poultry model. Three concentrations were maintaining 104, 105, 106 cfu/ml on the basis of McFarland standard were given to three groups. In vitro Macrophages migration inhibition factor assay was performed to check the cell mediated immune response in poultry birds against E. coli infection. The results showed that group administered with high Lactobac.. View More»
