Abstract

Commentary on Blood Disorders

Ahmed M Rabel

Tumours that spread through the bloodstream may affect the bone marrow, which is one of the organs involved. The most common tumours in adults are prostate, breast, and lung carcinomas, but any tumour that causes blood-borne metastases will invade the marrow. Leukaemia, also known as leukaemia, is a category of blood cancers that typically originate in the bone marrow and result in a large number of irregular blood cells. These blood cells, also known as blasts or leukaemia cells, are not completely formed.
